Last updated November 2026. Please read these terms before using Dayaka.
Dayaka connects Patrons directly with grassroots Self Help Groups (SHGs) so support can be sent straight to a project's own bank account. Dayaka facilitates that connection and publishes project and verification details — it is never a party to, and never handles, the funds transferred between a Patron and an SHG.
You're responsible for the accuracy of the information in your account and profile, and for keeping your password secure. Recipient and Patron profiles, projects, and contributions are subject to review by our staff and by our Registered Respected Community Leaders (RRCL) network, who may verify, reject, or request changes to what's submitted.
A Recipient submitting a project confirms that the details, cost estimates, and bank account provided are accurate, and agrees to use any support received solely for the stated project.
Contributions are voluntary and, once sent directly to a Recipient's bank account, are between the Patron and that Recipient — Dayaka does not process, hold, or refund these transfers. Reporting a contribution on the platform (amount, note, and proof of transfer) is how it gets verified and reflected on the project's public total.
You agree not to submit false or misleading information, misuse another person's account, or use the site for any purpose other than genuinely supporting or requesting support for SHG projects.
While every project and profile is reviewed before publication, Dayaka cannot guarantee the conduct of any Patron or Recipient after a direct transfer is made, and is not liable for the outcome of that transfer. The service is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind.
We may update these terms from time to time; the "last updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
