Atha-Hitha means "A Helping Hand… with the Heart." We facilitate donors reaching out directly to destitute communities in the remotest parts of Sri Lanka, through Self Help Groups (SHGs), without intermediaries.
There is no shortage of donors willing to help — provided their donations are fully used as intended. There is no shortage of grassroots SHGs doing the work — they simply lack a channel to the funding that's out there. Atha-Hitha is that channel.
Every project is published in full so you can decide for yourself where your money is most needed, and confirm it reached the intended beneficiary.
